Adobe Photoshop Lesson #11 - Could not use the tool because the target channel is hidden.

When using Photoshop CC, you may encounter this error, of the target channel is hidden.
Very confusing on why, this is happening.
I am assuming this is caused by an update, and this is a possible bug in the latest update.
As I have never had this happen before in the past CC releases.
